The North Greenville Crusaders suffered a 5-0 shutout caused by the Furman Paladins this afternoon in Greenville, SC. The NCAA Division I opponent dominated in shots 29-3 with 14 of those shots coming in the first half. NGU was able to limit the Paladins to just one goal in the first half, but Furman turned on the offensive attack in the second half, scoring four.

• Furman was able to get on the scoreboard rather quickly with a header goal in the 6th minute. The Paladins would post a total of 14 shots in the half but the NGU defense was able to keep the Paladins from adding to their lead throughout the remainder of the half. Faith Knoedler and Victoria Valentine put up North Greenville's two shots in the half.
• The Paladins quickly added to their lead just 35 seconds into the second half. Abby Mayer's shot in the 50th minute would be NGU's only shot of the half while Furman would score three additional goals throughout the half.
