Box Score The North Greenville Crusaders are just one win away from its first ever Conference Carolinas championship by defeating the Lees-McRae Bobcats with a final score of 2-0 in Florence, South Carolina. NGU more than doubled the Bobcats in total shots 15-7 and would only require three saves by goalkeeper Maggie Schopp. Joelle Chick and Victoria Valentine both recorded unassisted goals.

• North Greenville would post the first shot of the match seven minutes into the match, a shot that went high by Natalie Johnson. Shots would come at a premium in the half, but the Crusaders were able to get on the board when Victoria Valentine found the lower left side of the net to put the Crusaders up 1-0 with just seven minutes remaining in the opening half.
• The Crusader offense would come to life in the 2nd half as they would post the first six shots, with the sixth resulting in a goal by Joelle Chick. LMC had a chance to get on the board by way of a penalty kick, but Maggie Schopp would come through with a save to keep the Bobcats scoreless. From there, the North Greenville defense took over, only allowing one shot in the final 25 minutes of the match. That shot was also saved by Schopp.
