Tigerville, SC - North Greenville started off the Conference Carolinas Tournament on a high note with a 2-0 victory over the Flying Fleet of Erskine College this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. The Crusaders dominated the match, totaling 23 shots while allowing just three. Megan Biehl led with six shots and a goal.

• The first half would result in North Greenville being the aggressors, putting up fourteen shots compared to Erskine's three. Four of NGU's shots would be on goal but saved by the Flying Fleet to keep the match scoreless at halftime.
• North Greenville would continue to put up shots in the 2nd half, and would finally get a goal on the board fifteen minutes in when Megan Biehl scored off a deflected shot by Emma Shearer. Just ten minutes later, the Crusaders would find the back of net yet again on a header by Shelby Shepherd with an assist by Kayla Cruse. Defensively, NGU played strong and would not allow a single shot in the 2nd half.
