Box Score Tigerville, SC - North Greenville defeated the Lions of Emmanuel College with a final score of 3-0 this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. Two of NGU's three goals were the result of a header off a corner kick. Although, Emmanuel fell just two shots shorts of North Greenville's shot goal count of 12, the North Greenville defense proved tough as they would successfully keep the Lions off the board.
Kayla Cruse provided the two corner kicks that resulted in goals.

- The Crusaders tested the Emmanuel defense early and often, recording five shots in the first twenty minutes of the half. In the 23rd minute, Faith Knoedler would score a goal with a header off of a corner kick by Kayla Cruse. Less than five minutes later, Cruse would provide another assist off a corner kick when Abby Robinson knocked a header in for a goal. Both teams would get several shots off throughout the remainder of the half, but North Greenville would go into halftime with a 2-0 lead.
- After a slow start to the 2nd half, the Lions would start to come to life by putting up three shots within a nine minutes span. However, it would be North Greenville to find the back of the net again with a goal by Jada Patrick and an assist by Faith Knoedler. North Greenville would spend the remainder of the game turning to their defense, which allowed just one shot in the final fifteen minutes.
