Box Score Tigerville, SC - NGU took a 75-50 victory over the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University this afternoon at Hayes Gymnasium. After jumping out to a double digit lead in the 1st quarter, the Crusaders would pull away for good with a 52.63 field goal percentage in the 2nd quarter.
Haylee Luttrell led the way with a 20 point performance.

- In familiar fashion, the Crusaders got things going with the first five points of the game. NGU would slowly build up a double digit lead, and would end the 1st quarter with a seven point run to lead by eleven.
- NGU would continue to carry the momentum to begin the 2nd quarter, starting with a 6-2 run. After SWU responded with five points of their own, North Greenville would seemingly put the game away early with a fourteen point run to take a commanding 26 point lead. The Warriors did end the half with the final three points, but the Crusaders would lead by 23 at halftime.
- North Greenville spent the first four minutes of the 3rd quarter continuing to pull away, posting an 11-3 run that included three pointers by Journey Muhammad and Savannah Hughes to lead by 31. NGU would go on to lead by as much as 34 points and would be ahead 65-34 at the end of the quarter.
- After a 7-2 run by the Crusaders halfway through the 4th, NGU would go cold from the field, allowing SWU to end the game with a 12-2 run. However, North Greenville would still claim a 25 point victory.
Individual
- Haylee Luttrell posted 20 points, her season high. She also contributed with 7 rebounds.
- Peace Okeke neared a double-double, recording 12 points and 9 rebounds as well as a block and a steal.
- Savannah Hughes scored 12 points and also posted 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.
