Box Score The North Greenville Crusaders officially entered the win column this afternoon in Spartanburg, South Carolina with a final score of 66-56 against the Converse Valkyries. NGU led by ten after the opening quarter, and after struggling in the second quarter went on to outscore the Valkyries in the third and fourth quarters for a double-digit win.

Recap
- Converse began the game on a strong note to take a 9-2 lead early on. The Valkyries then went scoreless for six minutes, allowing NGU to score seventeen straight points to lead 19-9. Converse ended the quarter with two free throws, but the Crusaders would take a ten point lead into the second quarter.
- North Greenville started the second quarter by increasing the lead, going up by as much as thirteen. However, the Valkyries spent the remainder of the quarter on a 13-2 run as NGU would hang on to a two point lead at halftime.
- After an even start to the second half, the Crusaders would slowly begin to pull away before the two teams went on a cold streak. However, NGU would build a double digit lead back up. The Valkyries scored two jumpers late to cut the deficit down to seven to end the quarter.
- The Valkyries continued to put up a fight in the fourth quarter, but the Crusaders would hang on to a fairly comfortable lead throughout, ultimately taking a ten point victory back to Tigerville.
Individual
- Haylee Luttrell led the way with a fourteen point performance while also collecting nine rebounds.and two steals.
- Tabitha Littlefield recorded thirteen points, six rebounds, two steals, and an assist.
