Box Score North Greenville was stunned by the King Tornado in a 2-1 defeat in Bristol, Tennessee. The Crusaders dominated in total shots with 18 with 9 on goal while King put up just 4 shots. Emma Shearer scored her first goal of the season.
1st Half
The match got off to a rocky start for the Crusaders as King's Jaida Souvannaraj scored a goal just five minutes into the half. NGU would come back later in the half to tie the match thanks to a goal by Emma Shearer and an assist by Megan Biehl. The half would come to an end with North Greenville recording 8 shots compared to King's 2.
2nd Half
NGU continued to rack up the shot count in the 2nd half. King put up a header shot early in the half, but would not post another shot until the 80th minute when Emaleigh Adcox scored what would become the game-winning goal. The Crusaders did not go down without a fight, recording four shots in the final ten minutes. However, two saves by KU's Hannah Clements prevented the NGU comeback.
