Box Score Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders came away with a 59-57 victory of the Lions of Emmanuel College. With the game tied, Savannah Hughes put up a last-second shot to give NGU the win. Karen Donehew led with 17 points.
1st Quarter
A slow first quarter saw just four field goals scored between the two teams. Emmanuel took an early 5-3 lead halfway into the quarter, but North Greenville would respond with five straight points to take a 9-5 lead. The final two minutes of the quarter went scoreless.
2nd Quarter
Emmanuel scored six of the first eight points to tie the game at 11-11. After giving up the lead, NGU quickly took it back and led the remainder of the half. The Crusaders ended the half with a 4-1 run to lead 23-17. North Greenville shot an even 30.0% from the field. Karen Donehew and Elizabeth Trentham led NGU with six points each for the half.
3rd Quarter
North Greenville scored the first three points of the quarter to lead by nine. However, the Lions fought back to cut their deficit to two points. From there, the Crusaders would respond again with a 13-1 run to take a 41-27 lead. Emmanuel would close the gap slightly, but NGU would still lead by nine as the quarter expired.
4th Quarter
The quarter started off on an even note, but Emmanuel would storm back with a 17-2 run to lead 57-52 with just over 30 seconds remaining in the game. Donehew would guide NGU back with five points in just a ten-second span to tie the game at 57-57. A missed jumper allowed North Greenville to have one last possession, which Savannah Hughes took advantage of with the last second jumper to give NGU the 59-57 win. Karen Donehew led the second half in points with eleven.

Karen Donehew put up 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals.
Elizabeth Trentham made the most of her four shots with 6 points. She also recorded 3 rebounds and 3 blocks.
