Charlotte, N.C.-- The North Greenville Volleyball team opened play in the Pfeiffer Invitational losing to Montreat COllege 3-1 in four sets.

The Crusaders opened the match with a set one win with a  25-18 advantage. Montreat would come back to take the next three matches 25-17,26-28, and 26-24.
"I feel like this is the best ball we have played yet," said head coach Greg Mosely. "We dominated the first match and played very inspired but we ran into some trouble down the stretch."

The third set between the Crusaders and Cavaliers was a back and forth affair and ultimately confusion on NGU's part led to the set victory for Montreat.
"I am very pease with the girls," said Mosely, "We played at a very high level tonight and the team put together a great effort. If we can keep this up we will reach many of the goals we have set for ourselves this year."

With the loss, North Greenville falls to 2-4 in the young 2010 season. The Crusaders will wrap up the Pfeiffer tournament tommorow against tournament host Pfeiffer and Queens College.
