The NGU volleyball team (4-22) will host King College (TN) Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Hayes Gymnasium as they breath a sigh of relief to finally get to play at home.  The spikers are coming off a 10-match streak away from Tigerville.

They will now host seven consecutive home matches in the next two weeks.
Junior setter Gabrielle McKinley named All-Tournament at the Carson Newman Classic last weekend, her second All-Tourney award this season.  She is currently ranked 22nd nationally in NCCAA statistics in assists per game, and is 4th in the South Region.  As a team, NGU is 4th nationally in digs and 17th in blocks per game.  Amanda Bouchillon is ranked 13th nationally in digs per game by the NCCAA.

In other regional statistics, Bouchillon was 2nd in digs per game, Kindal Farver was 4th in digs per game, Kaitlyn Pierce was 5th in blocks per game and 10th in kills per game, Charlotte Swain was 6th in kills per game and 7th in attack percentage, and 10th in blocks per game, while Brittany Rivera was 9th in kills per game.
