Lydia Binder serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with eight years of experience in collegiate and secondary school athletics, bringing a well-rounded background in athlete care and performance support. She has also spent time at Mercer University, and First Presbyterian Day School, where she Head Athletic Trainer. Binder returned to North Greenville for the 2024–25 academic year. 

A native of Muren, Mongolia, Binder spent her formative years there before pursuing her undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Following graduation, she spent a year abroad as part of the Torchbearers Bible School in Sweden. She later earned her Master of Education from North Greenville University, further strengthening her foundation in both athletic training and student-athlete development.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Binder enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sand volleyball, hiking, and connecting with family and friends. Her favorite Bible verse is Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the lord is my strength.”

She graduated from UNL with her degree in Athletic Training.
