Nicholas Douglas came to North Greenville in January of 2023 as the newest assistant for North Greenville Track and Field. He will focus on sprints, hurdles, and jumps at North Greenville.Â

Nicholas graduated from Warner University in 2019 where he set multiple school records in the triple-jump, besting himself three times in the process. His leaping ability led him to a Sun Conference championship in 2021 and a National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association National Champion in 2020. His 2021 mark in the conference meet also set a conference record.Â

Douglas also has experience at the national level, competing against some of the best athletes in Jamaica at the Jamaica Athletics National Championships. He also competed in the 2021 Jamaica Olympic Trials.Â

Douglas’ first coaching stint was in the high school ranks as the assistant coach at Port Charlotte High School in Florida where he worked with the team’s jumpers for three seasons. In December of 2019 Douglas was named the head coach of Port Charlotte. During his time in Port Charlotte Florida, Douglas coached 13 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) State Qualifiers. The team also set six school records and were district champions in 2022.Â

He spent a semester at King University in the fall before making his way to Tigerville.Â

Nicholas Douglas graduated with a Bachelors in Sport Management in 2019 and earned his post graduate degree from Warner in 2022, earning a Masters in of Science in Management.Â
