Tigerville, S.C. – Women's Soccer vs. Emmanuel ended in a draw on Saturday evening as NGU scored late to make it a 1 – 1 final in Conference Carolinas play.
The Trailblazers found themselves down midway through the first half on a goal from Emmanuel in the 20
thminute. Despite the setback NGU continued to pressure the Emmanuel defense finishing with 15 – shots on the Lions Keeper.
North Greenville eventually drew level with Lions when Finley Lloyed fired a shot from 30 – yards for her first score of the season as well as NGU's first score of the new campaign. The Lloyd goal came with 20 – minutes left on the clock.
