Franklin Springs, GA - North Greenville earned its third consecutive win on Wednesday edging Emmanuel College 15 - 13 in league play.
After a 3-3 first quarter, the Trailblazers took control in the second, outscoring Emmanuel 4-1 to build a 7-4 halftime lead. The Lions battled back to tie it at 8-8 in the third, but NGU responded with three late goals to take an 11-8 advantage into the fourth.
North Greenville pushed the lead to six in the final period and held off a late Emmanuel rally to secure the win.
Aubree Mayse and Kami Straub led the way with four goals each, while Ava Walls added three goals and three assists. NGU also controlled possession, holding advantages in shots and draw controls.
