Baseball Sets Program Record as Ten Named All-Conference

The North Greenville Trailblazers were heavily represented in the 2026 Conference Carolinas postseason awards, with a program record ten players earning All-Conference honors while also taking two of the league's top individual awards following a dominant regular season.

North Greenville's success was highlighted by Connor McKee, who was named Freshman of the Year, and head coach Landon Powell, who earned Coach of the Year honors after leading the Trailblazers to a conference regular season championship and a 42-8 overall record.

The Trailblazers were well-represented across the All-Conference teams. C.J. Dean, Matty Brown, Thomas Skipper, and Josh Foulks represented North Greenville on the 1st team.

Dean was one of North Greenville's most consistent offensive performers, finishing among the team leaders in hits, RBIs, and extra-base hits.

Foulks ranked near the top of the team in home runs, RBIs, and total bases, earning his place as a First Team utility selection.

On the mound, Brown emerged as one of the team's top starting pitchers, finishing among NGU's leaders in wins, innings pitched, and strikeouts while maintaining one of the lowest ERAs on the staff. Skipper anchored the bullpen as the team's primary closer, leading the roster in saves.

North Greenville's depth was further reflected on the Second Team with Landon Peavy, Thomas Powell, Connor McKee, and Bennett Roemer earning recognition.

Peavy was a steady presence in the infield and finished among the team leaders in batting average and hits. Powell ranked near the top of the team in RBIs and extra-base hits while serving as a key contributor in the outfield.

McKee made an immediate impact in his freshman season, finishing with a .370 batting average along with six home runs and twenty-nine RBIs.

Roemer was one of North Greenville's most reliable arms, finishing near the top of the team in wins, innings pitched, and strikeouts.

Lane McGaha and Landon Peavy further respresented NGU on the All-Defensive team.
