Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers kept things close in a competitive matchup that resulted in 21 lead changes, but ultimately fell to the Panthers of Claflin University with a final score of 79-75 at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU shot well from the field throughout the first three quarters. However, they would cool down in the 4th quarter, recording just .286 from the field as Claflin would pull away in the closing minutes. 74 of Claflin's 79 points were scored either from the free throw line or in the paint. Turnovers were also costly for the Trailblazers as the Panthers finished with 21 points off turnovers. The loss moves North Greenville's overall record to 6-7.
