Young Harris, GA – North Greenville was outlasted by Young Harris on Saturday as the Lions escaped with a 17 – 13 win over the visiting Trailblazers.
A tie game at halftime tilted in the way of Young Harris as the Lions took a 12 – 11 lead heading in to the final period. NGU trailed by three at the 10:49 point of the third quarter but the Trailblazers scored three unanswered goals to tie it at 11 – 11. The Lions tacked on the final goal of the period to take a one goal lead. NGU would get as close a 13 – 12 with a goal from
Kylie Keen but Young Harris would score the next four to extend their lead to 17 – 12. Keen would add one more score with 2:12 left in the game to cut the final margin to four.
Kami Straub led NGU with four goals and eight draw controls. Keen finished with two goals while
Lauren Crane had two scores. Keen also led NGU with eight ground balls.

North Greenville will wrap up the regular season Monday against Belmont Abbey at 6 PM.
