The North Greenville Trailblazers dropped a non-conference game to the Flames of Lee University with a final score of 21-12 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Lee controlled things early on, scoring the first ten goals with seven in the 1st quarter and three in the 2nd. Laren Crane would get NGU on the board with a goal with 8:10 remaining in the 2nd quarter. After the Flames responded with three goals,
Kylie Keen would close out the 1st half with a goal to make the score 13-2 going into halftime. The Trailblazers would get the offense going in the 3rd quarter, scoring five consecutive goals including two goals by
Aubree Mayse. The Flames took the momentum back over by scoring four of the next five goals. That was followed by North Greenville scoring three of the next four goals. Lee closed out the game with three of the final four goals to end things with a nine point victory. NGU ended the afternoon with twenty-five total shots with nineteen on goal.
Kylie Keen scored three goals and posted six total shots with four on goal. She also provided two draw controls and a ground ball.
Isabella Ortiz posted three goals as well as four shots on goal, four draw controls, and a ground ball. Ava Walla finished with two goals and two assists in addition to two ground balls.
North Greenville will take on the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive on Saturday, March 22nd at Pepsi Stadium.
