Tigerville – North Greenville battled Converse in a 90 – minute affair on Wednesday night as two first goals resulted in a 1 – 1 tie.
Kylie McIlravy gave North Greenville the early first half lead when she scored six minutes and 19 seconds in to the game. She was assisted by Holy Lanter. It was Mcilray's first goal of the season and Lanter's first assist of the year.
The Valkyries evened the score minutes later with a goal. Converse had an opportunity to take the lead later in the game on a penalty kick of the opportunity sailed left of the goal to keep it even at one. Converse out shot NGU 21 – 12 but keeper
Anna Rickle for NGU accounted for nine saves to preserve the draw.
