Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders completed a sweep of the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls with a game one score of 8-6 and a game two score of 14-0 this afternoon at Jan McDonald Field. NGU finished the afternoon with a total of twenty-two runs and twenty-eight hits. Game one proved to be a competitive one as Johnson C. Smith put up a fight in the seventh inning to pull within two. However,
Georgia Lieb would record the save as the Crusaders were able to hang on for the win. Game two was dominated by the Crusaders, who scored four runs in the 1st, six runs in the 2nd, and two runs in both the 3rd and 4th innings.
Sydney Clark allowed just one hit and a walk as she would pitch all 5.0 innings.
Karley Green finished her afternoon with 4 hits, 4 RBIs, 3 extra-base hits, and a run scored.
Emily Blackwell posted 3 hits, 4 runs, and 3 RBIs.
Lexis Wilkinson also posted 3 hits as well as 4 runs, 3 RBIs, 3 stolen bases, and a walk.
