Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders were held to just two hits in a 1-0 loss to the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive this evening at Ray & Bea Dillard Field, resulting in NGU's first time being shutout since April 17, 2021. Mount Olive's run came in the 3rd inning by way of an RBI groundout.
Jake Monroe and
Brent Stukes put together solid performances on the mound, combining for just one run, three hits, and three walks allowed. However, the Crusaders would get on base just five times, and all five would be left on base.
Jake Monroe was charged with the loss.

Brent Stukes was also impressive, allowing just 1 walk and no hits along with 4 strikeouts.
Carter Dierdorf finished with a hit and 2 walks, becomming 3 of NGU's 5 baserunners throughout the game.
