Tigerville – North Greenville notched its first Conference Carolinas win of the season on Friday by defeating Chowan 6 – 1 in a morning matchup with the Hawks. 
 
The Crusaders took the doubles point with a win 7 – 5 by Christo Timini and Juan Jose Arbelaez and a Joao Silva and Gabriel Pegoraro win in the third doubles spot. 
 
Timini was triumphant once again with a 6 – 1, 4 – 6, 6 – 4 win in singles. Joao Silva won his singles game in three sets, bouncing back from a 5 – 7 loss to win the next two frames 6 – 3, 6 – 0. 
 
Will Hernandez won in straight sets, taking down his opponent 6 – 1, 6 – 3 while Juan Jose Arbelaez won 4 – 6, 6 – 3, 6 – 4.
