Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Lions of Emmanuel University with a final score of 23-11 this evening at Pepsi Stadium. NGU fell behind early as the Lions put the first five points of the game on the board. Although the Crusaders would score the next three to close the deficit down to two, Emmanuel would respond by scoring seven of the next nine to pull away with a 12-5 lead going into halftime. NGU began the 3rd quarter with three of the first four goals, but the Lions would reclaim the momentum and continue to pull away by closing out the game by scoring ten of the final thirteen goals, ultimately winning by twelve points. The two teams finished nearly identical in turnovers, ground balls, and draw controls.

Emma Mayew posted 5 goals as well as 4 draw controls and an assist. Katie Keller recorded 2 goals and an assist. Lauren Crane provided 2 goals as well as 9 draw controls and a ground ball.

North Greenville will return to action on Saturday, March 23rd against the Hawks of Chowan University at Pepsi Stadium.
