Clinton, S.C. – The 2024 portion of the season opened with a non-conference loss to Division I Presbyterian on Saturday by a score of 6 – 1.
North Greenville's lone win came from
Naomi Sakakibara in the singles portion. Sakakibara won her head-to-head 6 -3, 6 -1.
Vitoria Maximiliano lost 2 – 6, 0 – 6. Leah Grace Katzman fell 1 – 6, 3 – 6 and
Martina Cairus fell 3 – 5, 4 – 6.
Abigail Watson lost 6 – 7, 2 – 6 while
Kyla Steyn fell 2 – 6 1 -6.
In doubles Maximiliano and Katzman fell 1 – 6, Cairus and Watson lost 3 – 6, and Sakakibara and Steyn lost 4 – 6.
