Bristol, TN – North Greenville Men's Golf finished tied for sixth in the first tournament of 2023 with a total team score of 578.
The Crusaders finished 18 – strokes behind the tournament winner, Tusculum, which finished with a total of 552. Emory and Henry finished second followed by King and Indiana Pennsylvania. Young Harris finished fifth.
Trey Cauthen led North Greenville with a 144 – totoal through two rounds of gol. Cauthen shot a 73 and 71 and finished tied for 23
rd. Three NGU players tied for 26
th overall with a finishing total of 145. Henry Hall shot a 72 and a 73, Blake Kelly shot a 71 and 74, and
Brenden Tigert shot a 71 and a 74.
Bryce Honeck finished in a tie for 35
th with a total score of 147. Honeck shot a 72 in round one and followed with a 75.
