NGU Ends Skid with Victory Over Young Harris

Tigerville, SC - North Greenville ended their three game losing streak with a 9-5 victory over the 23rd ranked Mountain Lions of Young Harris College this evening at Ray & Bea Dillard Field. The game featured four lead changes with NGU taking the lead for good in the bottom of the sixth with a four run inning. Reece FIelds pitched the opening five innings, but it would be Dawson Taylor who would receive the win with 2.0 scoreless innings pitched. Michael Rodriguez would enter in a non-save situation to pitch the final two innings and secure the win. NGU finished the game with a total of ten hits and eight walks while two errors allowed two unearned runs to score.
