The North Greenville Crusaders put together a successful evening in Greeneville, Tennessee, sweeping the Pioneers of Tusculum University with a final score of 3-0. It was a complete performance for the Crusaders, who led in hitting percentage in all three sets and led in kills, blocks, assists, and digs. NGU trailed early on in the opening set, but soon took over and consistently held a small lead, eventually winning the set 25-22. Set two was led by North Greenville until Tusculum put together a 7-2 run to lead by one. However, NGU would then post a run of their own and went on to win the set 25-19. The third set was a competitive one early on, but a 7-2 run by the Crusaders proved to be enough to maintain a healthy lead, going on to win the final set 25-19.

- Michael de la Cruz finished the night with eight kills, two block assists, and a service ace.
- Diego Rosich also posted eight kills along with six digs, a block assists, and an assist.
- Tom Curry recorded seven kills without an attack error. He also provided four digs and three blocks.
