NGU Swept by Anderson to Start 2023 Season

North Greenville held a lead in both games but ultimately fell to the Trojans of Anderson University this afternoon in Anderson, South Carolina with a game one final score of 6-2 and a game two final score of 10-2. The big inning proved to be costly for North Greenville as Anderson would pull away in game one with a four run fifth inning and would not only take the lead but ultimately run rule NGU in game two with an eight run fifth inning. North Greenville finished the day with a total of twelve hits, nine of them coming in game one.Starting pitchers Karley Green and Sydney Clark were charged with the losses.
