North Greenville's 2022 season came to an end this afternoon in Duncan, SC with a 6-2 loss to the Bulldogs of Barton College. The Crusaders struck first in the top of the 1st with a sacrifice fly by Virginia Bishop, but an RBI triple tied things right back up in the bottom of the inning. After a scoreless 2nd, the Bulldogs would take the lead with three runs in the 3rd. NGU's final run of the season came in the 4th when a wild pitch allowed Lexis Wilkinson to score. A homerun in the 6th gave Barton two insurance runs, which would be more than enough to hang on for the win. Hailey Wells was the losing pitcher. NGU finished the season with a 21-30 record.
