North Greenville Splits Doubleheader with UNC Pembroke, Takes Series

The North Greenville Crusaders left Pembroke, North Carolina with 1st place in the Conference Carolinas standings. After taking the opening game yesterday, the Crusaders followed up with another dominant win with a score of 10-2. The Braves would take the final game with a final score of 7-5. NGU won game one comfortably despite committing three errors. However, six errors in game two would prove to be costly as two unearned runs would be NGU's final deficit. North Greenville now holds a 17-3 record in conference while UNC Pembroke remains in 2nd place with a 14-4 conference record. Reece Fields recorded hix sixth win of the season while Thomas Skipper was charged with the loss in game two.
