Tigerville, S.C. – North Greenville Women's Tennis dropped its fall season opener on Tuesday to Mars Hill by a score of 5 – 2.
The Crusaders earned the doubles point for day, earning the wins in doubles two and three.
Hannah Hill and
Ashlen Chapman secured a win with a 6 – 4 score while
Naomi Sakakibara and
Mitzy Enderink also earned a 6 – 4 win.
Enderink also accounted for North Greenville's only singles point with a dominating 6 – 2 / 6 – 4 win.
Larissa Berger fell I three sets with scores of 2 – 6, 6 – 3, 7 – 10,
Hannah Hill lost in three sets with set scores of 6 – 1, 2 – 6, 9 – 11 and
Martina Cairus lost 2 – 6, 1 – 6. Sakakibara lost 2 – 6, 3 – 6 and
Ashlen Chapman dropped a 3 – 6, 3 – 6 decision.
