NGU Clinches Share of Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship with Win Over Barton

North Greenville took its share of the regular season Conference Carolinas Championship with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs of Barton College this afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina. A goal by Aleisha Lamb was the only one for either team in the first half. However, a goal by Alexah Fite would give the Crusaders a 2-0 lead in the 57th minute. Nine minutes after the Bulldogs got on the board with a goal, NGU ended any doubt in the 80th minute with a third goal by Dani Avelar. The Crusaders finished the match narrowly leading in shots 14-12 with eight being on goal.
