NGU still searching after 6-1 loss to Erskine

Box Score Tigerville -- NGU women's tennis remains winless in league play after a 6-1 loss to Erskine College on Wednesday afternoon at Vance Tennis Complex. 

The Crusaders were swept by the Fleet in doubles play, dropping the first team point of the day. Larissa Berger and Mitzy Enderick fell 6-1, Jhovana Brena and Naomi Sakakibara dropped a 6-4 decision, while Makena Newsome and Merit Morgan fell 6-2. 

North Greenville's only point of the day came in singles when Jhovana Brena earned a 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 win in the second spot. Berger fell 6-3, 6-3 in the two position, Enderink lost 6-4, 6-2, and Naomi Sakakibara went three sets but fell 6-4, 0-6, 0-1. Makena Newsome and Hannah Sepko both lost 6-0, 6-0. 

North Greenville travels to King University on Friday to wrap up the regular season.
