Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders split the day with the Flying Fleet of Erskine College this afternoon at
Jan McDonald Field. NGU outhit the Fleet in game one as
Elizabeth Engler pitched a gem, but failed to score a run and dropped the game 1-0. However, NGU would respond in game two with a 2-1 victory.
Aschlyn Hutto and
Josie Reed each collected two hits for the day while
Callie Richards earned her 4th win of the season.

- Elizabeth Engler took the mound to start the day. A leadoff hit by pitch would eventually result in a run scoring to give the Flying Fleet an early lead. After four uneventful innings, NGU put together a key opportunity in the 6th inning as Brooklyn Stone and Josie Reed would both single to get runners on. Both runners would end up in scoring position, but a fly out ended the inning to keep NGU off the board. Elizabeth Engler would allow just two hits and a walk while striking out four, but Erskine's Hannah Houge would pitch a complete game shutout for the win.
- With Callie Richards taking the start in game two, NGU would get on the scoreboard early with an RBI single by Aschlyn Hutto. She would later repeat with an RBI single to right field in the bottom of the 3rd. The Crusaders would run into some trouble in the 7th as an unearned run would score for Erskine. However, Jaelin Griffin would enter the game, and would eventually record the final three outs to earn the save.

- Elizabeth Engler pitcher a complete game, allowing just 2 hits and a walk while striking out 4.
- Callie Richards was also solid on the mound, pitching 6.0 innings allowing no earned runs on 3 hits and 2 walks. She struck out 8.
- Carmen Silvester recorded a hit in both games.
