The same would happen in the 2nd as a walk and a single for NGU failed to result in a run. Tusculum would get a key opportunity in the top of the 5th by loading the bases. Griffin would get out of the jam by recording a groundout to retire the side. After the Pioneers left two runners on base in the top of the 7th, North Greenville would finally get a run across in the bottom of the inning for the win by way of an infield single by Jenna Hewes. Jaelin Griffin threw a complete game and earned the win.
  • Tusculum would let out some early frustrations in game two by taking a 3-0 lead in the 1st. Makayla Brackett would get the Crusaders on the board in the bottom of the 2nd with an RBI groundout. Brianna McRae would tie the score up in the bottom of the 3rd with a two run home run to left center. Pitching would then take over for the next six innings. In the 9th, the Pioneers would take the lead with a sacrifice fly. However, the Crusaders were able to respond with a run in the bottom of the inning by way of an RBI bunt single by Makayla Brackett. Both teams would also score a run in the 10th inning, with NGU's being an RBI infield single by Aschlyn Hutto. After a scoreless 11th, NGU would finally get the winning run across the plate when Josie Reed was able to lay down a bunt down the 1st base line that gave Grayce Black just enough time to score from third base. Bailey Pace was the winning pitcher.
