• In perfect game weather, both teams fought relentlessly for the first half, ending at 0-0. 
• The Crusaders came out in the second half with urgency, securing a goal in the 85th minute from senior captain, Alex Pagliaro.  
• The Koalas responded with a goal in the 86th minute, leaving the game tied at the end of regulation.
• After two, ten minute overtimes, the score remained a tie and ended as a draw.
