Denmark, S.C.—The North Greenville Lady Crusaders were
unable to pick up a third straight victory Thursday night as they were edged out by the Tigers of
Voorhees College 55-51.
The game against the tigers is the Crusaders third road game
in a row. The team will return
home Saturday, for an afternoon rematch with Young Harris College. The Crusaders
and Mountain Lions have met once this year, a game in which the Lions came out
on top with a 56-55 victory. The Crusaders were without leading scorer Karly
Stache in the first matchup who was recovering from a past injury.
The game Saturday will tip off at 2pm. Saturday’s game is
also “Crusader Club Day’” and all Crusader Club members will receive free
admission to the game.
