The North Greenville Crusaders wrapped up the 2018 regular season with a 2-0 loss to the Anderson Trojans. AU scored two goals in the first half and both teams were shutout in the second half. Noah Kendrick recorded a season-high fourteen saves.
The first goal for the Trojans came just under three minutes into the match when Lars Kaula scored a penalty kick goal. Another goal would be scored by Cameron Emerson to give the Trojans a 2-0 lead. NGU's first shot did not come until the 33rd minute by Erick Gonzalez. With just a few minutes remaining in the half, Andrew Sweat was charged with a yellow card. Nick Roberson would put up the final shot up of the half.
Anderson continued to be aggressive in the second half with the first eleven shots. Kike Molina recorded NGU's first shot of the half in the 65th minute. In the 77th minute, Dawson Martin took over at goalkeeper for the Crusaders and played for the remainder of the match, recording his second and third saves of the season.
Noah Kendrick made a season-high 14 saves at goalkeeper.
Erick Gonzalez led the Crusaders in shots with 2.
Will Moy and Kike Molina both recorded a shot on goal.
With the regular season complete, up next for NGU is the Conference Carolinas Tournament, which will begin Thursday, November 1st.
