Men's Soccer began its 2018 season with a victory over the Hawks of Shorter University. The Crusaders totalled 11 shots with 5 on goal.
North Greenville was the first team on the board just five minutes into the match when Marlon Evans scored a goal with an assist by Ope Olaloko. Later in the half, Will Moy added a goal of his own to give the Crusaders a 2-0 lead.
Less than five minutes into the 2nd half, Jake Quinn and Nick Roberson connected for a goal to put NGU up by three. Shorter would not go down without a fight however. The Hawks scored two goals in the final thirty minutes of the match, but North Greenville held on to take the win.
