North Greenville Takes 2nd in Southern Tide Classic

After a rained out day two, North Greenville officially placed 2nd out of 11 teams in the Southern Tide Classic in Greenville, South Carolina. The Crusaders posted a round one score of 297 before rebounding for an improved 2nd round score of 290 to finish 11 over par for the tournament. 

Evans Lewis finished as the top Crusader in the tournament, shooting even for the tournament with a round one score of 74 and a round two score of 70. He tied two other participants for 3rd place individually.

Austin Duncan also had a solid tournament, finishing tied for 6th individually with a round one score of 73 and a round two score of 72.

Alex Parker tied for 15th place individually. He started with an opening round score of 73 and posted a round two score of 74.

Zachary McDermid opened up with a round one score of 77 and finished with a round two score of 74 to tie for 30th individually.

Miller Harbin rounded out the North Greenville team, posting a round one score of 78 and a round two score of 77. He tied for 41st place.

Up next for NGU is the Cherokee Valley Men's Invitational, starting on Monday, March 16th in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
