North Greenville wrapped up the 6th Annual UNG Fall Invitational tied for 7th place out of 14 teams. After shooting 290 (+2) in the first round of the tournament, the Crusaders finished day one with their best round of the tournament with 282 (-6) total strokes in the second round. Round three earlier today resulted in another score of 290 (+2) to finish the tournament with a total of 862 strokes (-2).
Evans Lewis had a strong performance over the duration of the tournament. He posted scores of 70 (-2), 71 (-1), and 68 (-4) for a total of 209 strokes (-7). His score tied for 5th overall in the tournament.
Austin Duncan put together another solid effort, posting scores of 71 (-1), 68 (-4), and 75 (+3) for a total of 214 strokes (-2). He tied for 23rd place overall.
Daniel Planchock started with a score of 74 (+2), followed up with a 71 (-1), then concluded his tournament with another 74 (+2) for a total of 219 strokes (+3). His scored tied him for 40th place overall.
Miller Harbin began the tournament shooting 75 (+3) in round one, then recovered with a 72 (E) and finished with a score of 73 (+1) for a total of 220 strokes (+4). He tied for 44th place overall.
Alex Parker began his tournament with a score of 80 (+8) but fought back in round two with a score of 72 (E). He wrapped things up with a 79 (+7) for a total of 231 strokes (+15).
NGU will take a week off before returning to compete in the Donald Ross Intercollegiate in Morganton, North Carolina on Monday, October 14th.
