Crusaders Take Fifth Place in Donald Ross Intercollegiate

NGU men's golf placed 5th out of 14 teams in the David Ross Intercollegiate, which was hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University in Morganton, North Carolina.


Alex Parker dominated individual competition, shooting 68 in both rounds and winning by seven strokes. His total score of 136 (-4) was the lowest of the tournament.

Austin Duncan was the top finisher for the Crusaders. He shot 69 in the first round and 71 in the second round for a total score of 140 (E), which was tied for 10th place.

Evans Lewis began his tournament with a 73 in the opening round and a 72 in the second round, which placed him tied for 23rd with a score of 145 (+5).

Seth Robertson shot 73 in both rounds. His total score of 146 (+6) was tied for 27th place.

Josiah Ledford - 147 (+7) - T32nd

Matthew Campbell - 159 (+19) - T77th


Men's golf will return in February with the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate in St. Augustine, Florida.
