2018: Played in all 10 games for the Crusaders and aided NGU in both the passing and run games...Helms racked up 13-receptions last season and put up 165-yards on those catches...He lead all tightends with three scores and was second among tight ends in catches...He set career highs in all three categories...Helms also posted a career best 35-yard reception against Lenoir-Rhyne...Hist best game came against Valdosta State when he caught five passes for 48-yards (Single-game highs) and a score.

2017: Played in 8-games and had three receptions for 37-yards and a 12.3 yard average. Had a long of 15 yards for the season.
