Tigerville – North Greenville student-athletes will once again step out on prom night this year as they team up with the Tim Tebow Foundation for “A Night to Shine” prom night.
The "Night to Shine" website describes the event as an unforgettable prom night experience centered around God's love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. The event is hosted by churches all over the world including several in the state of South Carolina.
Men’s lacrosse and NGU cheerleading have been regulars at the event but this year two more teams will get in on the act with North Greenville football and women’s soccer getting in on the action.
The 2018 event was hosted by over 537 churches worldwide including 16 separate countries. The number ballooned to 650 churches for this year. 13 Churches in the state of South Carolina will participate including three churches in Upstate South Carolina.
