Spartanburg, S.C. - The North Greenville Crusaders swept Converse College on the road today (W 25-16, W 25-10, W 25-12). They are now 17-8 (6-5 CC) on the season.

The Crusaders started off strong in game one taking advantage of five Valkyrie errors to hold a 9-4 lead. Converse tried to battle back but North Greenville wouldn’t allow them to gain any momentum as the Crusaders would answer any score that the Valkyries put on the board. North Greenville would go on to take game one 25-16.

Samantha Hebb led the Crusaders in game one with four kills and Madison Pogue finished the first Game with thirteen assists.

North Greenville kept going strong in game two putting up ten points on Converse taking a 10-4 lead. After giving up two to the Valkyries, Madison Pogue and Emma Pepper would kill two in a five point run to put them up 16-6. North Greenville would only give up four as they would go on to rout the Valkyrie 25-10 in game two.

Kenzie Pierce would lead the Crusaders in game two with four kills and Madison Pogue would dish out nine assists putting her total for the night at twenty two.

With the sweep on the line, The Crusaders kept the momentum rolling to take a 10-4 lead over the Valkyries. After trading point for point the Crusaders would find a rhythm offensively and kill five and take a 19-9 lead. The Valkyries would try to fight back but errors would allow the Crusaders to go on and take game three 25-12 and sweep the Valkyries. The Crusaders would finish game three with a .467 hitting percentage.

Brittany Tepedino would lead the Crusaders in kills with 11. Madison Pogue would have no trouble spreading the ball around as she would finish with 39 assists. Eve Little would lead the Crusaders in digs with 15.
