Central, S.C. – North Greenville struggled offensively on Saturday afternoon and Southern Wesleyan took advantage, earning 3-0 (20-25, 21-25, 15-25) win over the Crusaders.
The Crusaders hit just .075 during the three-set match, knocking down just 33-kills on 134-attempts. NGU also committed 23-attack errors. Southern Wesleyan was slightly better on the offensive side of the net with 38-kills on 111-attempts with just 13-errors.
Kenzie Pierce Brittany Tepedino led North Greenville with 10-kills each while Samantha Hebb finished with seven. Eaden Shockley had two service aces while Madison Pogue dished out 25-assists.
Eve Little led North Greenville defensively with 12-digs from her libero spot while Pierce led the defense at the net with two solo blocks. Pierce also added seven digs to help the defensive cause for North Greenville.
North Greenville falls to 13-6 on the season and 4-4 in league play. The Crusaders will travel to Brevard, North Carolina to take on the Tornados on October 11th at 7pm.
