Columbia, S.C.-- The North Greenville women's volleyball team corrected a two game losing skid on Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Benedict College in Columbia South Carolina.
The Crusaders earned the 3-1 victory, ousting the Tigers for the second time this season. North Greenville took the first set 25-18 to gain a 1-0 advantage, continuing its set win streak over Benedict. The Crusaders won four consecutive frames over the Tigers until BC righted the ship with a 25-18 win of their own to even the tally. North Greenville would earn wins of 25-16 in set three and 25-18 in the fourth set to earn the win and improve to 10-3 on the season.
The Crusaders will have a couple days off before continuing a three game road set on October third with a trip to Banner Elk, North Carolina for a Conference Carolinas showdown with Lees-McRae College. First serve between the Crusaders and Bobcats is scheduled for 7pm.
