Cleveland, Ga—The North Greenville women’s volleyball team continued its impressive start to the 2014 season on Tuesday, claiming a 3-0 victory of the Bears of Truett McConnell. 

The Crusaders win over TMC included a dominating 25-10 win in the third set. The Crusaders were lead by Yomi Adeyeye who lead all scorers with 13 kills in 26 attempts. Rachel Burts was also strong at the net with 8 kills while Ashlyn Wilkinson led the Crusaders with 18 assists. The Crusaders were strong once again at the service line, dishing out eight aces. Jenna Farrato had six digs for NGU while Kenzie Pierce had five. 

The Crusaders are now 4-1 on the season, and will host its second tournament on Friday and Saturday in Hayes Gymnasium. The Crusaders will play host to Truett McConnell, Benedict, and Johnson and Wales. 

First serve on Friday is scheduled for 3pm against Johnson and Wales.
