NGU VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS BREAK INTO TOP 50 IN NCAA II STATS

Kaitlyn Pierce, a junior middle hitter from Winston-Salem, NC (Reagan HS), has broken into elite territory in NCAA Division II volleyball statistics, as she is now 34th nationally in kill percentage.  Pierce has 255 kills on 548 attempts for a .362 percentage.  Abby Frame (sophomore setter, Sylvania, Ohio) (9.71 assists per set), and Rebecca Mayes (freshman outsider hitter, Ashland, KY (Rose Hill Christian School) (3.36 kills per set), are just outside the top 50 nationally in those categories.

The NGU volleyball team will play its final home match on Wednesday, Oct. 27 vs. Johnson & Wales College at 6:30 p.m. in Hayes Gymnasium.  The Crusaders are currently 16-15 on the season.
