CRUSADERS STRUGGLE IN COLUMBIA

Columbia, S.C.—The North Greenville Volleyball team dropped two matches today in a tri-match falling to host Columbia 3-0 followed by a loss to Brevard College 3-1.

The Crusaders had previously beaten Columbia College earlier in the year but the Koalas won in three straight sets 25-18, 25-19, and 26-24.

“Disappointing day today. We struggled in both matches,” said head coach Greg Mosely.

The Lady Crusaders tough day continued in their match against Brevard College.

NGU took the first set of the match 25-21 but the team was unable to continue the success as Brevard took three sets in a row with a score of 25-23.

"We have to get back to practice and work on what we need to work on,” remarked Mosely.  “Our goal now is to get ready to wrap up the season and win some matches.”

The Lady Crusaders hit the floor again on October 26th against Morris College. The lone remaining home game for North Greenville will be on October 27th against Johnson and Wales University. October 27th will also be senior night for the Lady Crusaders.
